국제 인권의 중요성(the importance of human rights)

인권의중요성 인권은 행복 추구권, 평등권, 자유권, 참정권, 사회권 등 인간이 인간이기 때문에 당연히 갖는다고 생각되는 권리로서 마땅히 누려야할 권리이다.

The human rights consisted of rights to pursuit happiness, equality, civil liberties, political rights, social rights are the rights that all people no matter of any differences in the background should be able to pursuit.

세계인권선언은 제2차 세계대전 중 인류의 야만적인 범죄에 대한 성찰을 계기로 개인의 자유와 권리를 진술한 문서로서 모든 인간의 기본적 권리를 존중해야 한다는 유엔헌장의 취지를 반영하여 유엔 인권위원회에서 작성되었고, 1948년 12월 10일 제3차 유엔총회에서 채택되었다. 이 선언은 다양한 정치ㆍ법적 체제, 종교ㆍ문화ㆍ철학적 전통에 내재한 공통의 가치 결집을 위한 노력의 산물로서 인권과 기본적 자유의 보편성을 강조하고 있으며, 이후 60개 이상의 국제인권 관련 규범 탄생의 기념비적 역할을 하고 있다. 단, 이 선언은 법적 구속력은 부재하며, 권리보장을 위한 국가의 의무가 제시되지 않았고, 경제ㆍ사회ㆍ문화적 권리 분야에 대한 관심은 부족한 것이 주요 한계로 지적되고 있다.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, was adopted at the Third United Nations General Assembly, which is the declaration of introspection of World War II, when barbaric crimes thrived. The primary reason for the declaration is to state that all of humanity should have their human rights respected, no matter of their race, religion, and other backgrounds. Legal , politics, religion, as well as cultural common values ​​inherent in the philosophical tradition of the basic universal freedom were especially stressed in the declaration. However, the declaration lacks the legislative binding, State's obligation to ensure the right, and also, more importantly the lack of people's attention, which is a serious problem.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which only has a binding obligation, was adopted in 1966 when , the ' civil and political rights conventions ' and 'economical , social and cultural rights Conventions were first adopted by the United Nations.

기존의 도덕적 구속력만을 가지던 세계인권선언을 바탕으로 하여 법적 구속력을 가진 국제인권법이 마련된 것은 각각 1966년에 채택되고 1976년에 발효된 ‘시민적ㆍ정치적 권리규약’ 및 ‘경제적ㆍ사회적ㆍ문화적 권리규약’이다. 이 규약들은 세계인권선언과 함께 일반적으로 국제인권장전으로 불리고 있다.

Furthermore, the Convention on the Rights of emigrant Workers, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the Convention on Enforced Disappearances, as well as conventions on women and children were adopted in order to protect the socially disadvantaged people.

마지막으로, 이주민 노동자들의 권리, 장애인들의 권리, 강요된 실종 권리, 여성과 아동 들의 권리는 사회적 약자들을 위해 체택되었다.
